From Frustration to Masterpieces: Annemarie’s Laser Engraving Journey
When Annemarie Rademeyer first ordered her Creality Falcon Laser Engraver from Create It 3D, she couldn’t wait for delivery. She was excited but nervous — could she really learn this? Would it be too technical?

” I’m still figuring out the software… this is all new to me,” she messaged us, unsure if she’d ever get it right.

Annemarie’s progress as a maker reached a new milestone when she entered our Create It 3D Laser Club Competition. The competition brought together laser enthusiasts from all over South Africa, each showcasing projects inspired by heritage, culture, and creativity.
Her entry — the “Mandela Motivation Care Pack” — captured attention for its thoughtful design and meaningful theme. Combining skill with heart, Annemarie created a piece that celebrated South Africa’s spirit of resilience and unity.
Out of all the submissions, she proudly placed third. For someone who once doubted she could even figure out the software, this achievement was a powerful sign of how far she had come.
