A polyetherimide or PEI build surface features advanced temperature resistance and a surface to which most materials stick. This Creality Creality K1C Smooth PEI Build Plate is designed to the exact same standards as the stock K1 A plate but has been equipped with smooth PEI. With both on hand, you can swap out your A plates at will by simply taking one off and magnetically sticking the other directly on top. Enjoy the key benefits that make these FlexPlate beds so attractive. PETG especially strongly adheres to PEI and may become difficult to remove, however, this extra adhesion is sought after by many Makers. The PEI build surface is known to be excellent for printing 3D filaments like TPU, ABS, and PLA.

The ultra-smooth sheen of these PEI sheets results in a flawless flat first layer, unlike a powdered-coated plate that makes your print’s bottom layer roughly textured. The PEI surface is attached to a high-strength spring steel plate, that flexes to pop off your prints with ease. No need for scrapping off your prints and damaging your bed in the process.
