How to Change Your Nozzle Safely
For optimal thermal coupling, use the hot tightening method:
- Loosen the heat break from the heatsink by half a turn to avoid unnecessary pressure.
- Heat the hotend to 285°C, ensuring accurate temperature control.
- Remove the existing nozzle and insert the new nozzle securely.
- While firmly holding the heater block, tighten the nozzle carefully, avoiding excess force on the heat break.
- Turn off the hotend and let it cool completely before final adjustments.
- This method prevents filament leaks, clogs, and print defects, ensuring consistent print quality.
