Objects with presence

We do not just print parts. We manufacture the things people remember.

From a palm-sized functional component to a human-scale character, every project starts with the same question: what must the finished object achieve?

We combine design judgement, FDM and resin production, intelligent assembly and finishing for dentistry, medical, mining, farming, architecture, engineering, automotive and brand teams across South Africa.

What we make

The service changes with the object.

Strength, finish, accuracy, size, quantity and deadline determine the production route—not a one-size-fits-all machine setting.

01

Prototypes and product development

Test fit, form and function before committing to tooling or full production.

02

Functional and replacement parts

Manufacture nylon brackets, covers, housings, jigs and hard-working components for engineering, mining, farming and real-world use.

03

Sculptures and character builds

Create portrait work, detailed characters and large-format centrepieces with physical presence.

04

Revit-to-print architectural models

Prepare, repair or recreate Revit geometry, simplify it intelligently and scale it into a print-ready physical model for architecture students and practices.

05

Branded displays and connected products

Build distinctive product displays, signage, NFC objects, replicas and campaign pieces.

06

Short-run production

Produce repeatable batches without the delay and cost of traditional tooling.

How we work

A clear route from brief to physical result.

We scope the job before production so design, material, orientation, assembly and finish all support the outcome.

  1. 01

    Understand the job

We confirm purpose, size, quantity, finish, deadline and the files or references available.

  2. 02

    Prepare the design

Geometry is reviewed for printability, strength, tolerance, assembly and intelligent part splitting.

  3. 03

    Print and monitor

The right FDM or resin process is selected and production is actively quality checked.

  4. 04

    Finish and deliver

Parts are cleaned, assembled and finished as scoped, then packed for collection or courier.

Prototypes, end-use parts and production batches

Professional 3D Printing Services for Parts, Prototypes and Production

Our South African 3D printing service supports one-off parts, functional prototypes, display pieces and repeat production. We help select the appropriate FDM or resin process, material, orientation and finish around the way the finished item must look and perform.

Open the complete buyer guide Compare materials, features, applications and ownership costs.

FDM and resin printing

FDM is widely used for durable prototypes, jigs, housings, fixtures, large models and functional components. Resin printing is suited to fine detail, small features, masters and presentation pieces. We recommend the process after considering strength, detail, size, tolerance, finish and budget.

More than a price per gram

An accurate selling price cannot be calculated from weight alone. Material volume matters, but so do machine time, support structures, setup, failure risk, quantity, post-processing, tolerances, assembly and deadline. We price the finished result so your quote reflects the actual work and quality required.

Small parts and batch printing

For small parts, the setup and handling can be more important than the grams used. For batches, we review nesting, repeatability, quality checks and packing so the unit price is fair at the requested quantity. Samples can be quoted before a larger run where validation is important.

Functional prototypes

Prototype jobs may combine CAD design, printing, bought-in components, fasteners, electronics, coatings and assembly. We separate these requirements clearly, then manage the route from first concept to a testable item and the revisions needed before production.

Finishing and special projects

We can scope sanding, filling, paintwork, resin coating, branding, NFC-tag integration and presentation finishes where required. Large statues and display pieces are assessed for sectioning, reinforcement, assembly, transport and the visual standard expected.

Files, delivery and lead time

Upload an STL, STEP, OBJ, 3MF or suitable CAD file when available. If you only have a sketch, photo or physical sample, use our design or scanning route first. We quote lead time after checking the file, material, quantity and finishing, and can arrange delivery throughout South Africa.

Ready to make it real?

Bring us the file, the part or simply the idea.

You do not need to know the material or printing process. Share what you have, what the finished object needs to achieve and when you need it. We will help define the most sensible route.

Straight answers before you start

3D printing service FAQs

The right process depends on the design, material, quantity, finish and intended use. These answers cover the questions we hear most often.

What files do you need for 3D printing?

STL, STEP and other common 3D formats are welcome. If you only have a sketch, sample part or idea, our CAD and scanning services can help create the production-ready file.

Which 3D printing material should I choose?

The right material depends on heat, UV exposure, impact, flexibility, load, chemical contact, appearance and budget. Tell us how the part will be used and we will recommend a suitable FDM or resin option.

What determines the price of a 3D print?

Price is driven by part size, material volume, production time, geometry, support requirements, quantity, assembly and finishing. A usable file and a clear brief allow us to quote accurately.

Can you manufacture large sculptures and display pieces?

Yes. Large builds are intelligently divided into manufacturable sections, printed, assembled and finished to the agreed presentation standard. The mermaid and portrait projects shown on this page are examples of our real large-format work.

Can 3D printed parts be used as functional components?

Yes, when the design, material, orientation and operating conditions are appropriate. We review the application and explain the practical limitations before production.

Can you print more than one part?

Yes. We handle once-off prototypes as well as repeat batches and short-run production. Quantity, consistency and delivery timing are considered during scoping.

Do you deliver 3D printed parts across South Africa?

Yes. We support customers nationwide and can courier completed parts. Large or fragile builds are packed and transported according to the project requirements.

How long does a 3D printing project take?

Turnaround depends on design readiness, size, quantity, process, material and finishing. Once we review the file and brief, we can confirm a realistic production schedule.

Can you 3D print an architectural model from a Revit file?

Yes. We review the Revit geometry, repair or recreate details that are not printable, simplify the model intelligently and scale it for a clean physical presentation model. We regularly support architecture students and practices with this workflow.

Do you manufacture parts for dentistry, medical, mining and farming applications?

Yes. We manufacture custom prototypes, equipment components, housings, jigs and replacement parts for specialist industries. Material, finish, load, heat, UV and chemical exposure are reviewed against the intended use before production.

Plan the project correctly

Getting an accurate 3D printing services quotation

Turn a supplied file, replacement part or new product idea into a professionally manufactured component.

What determines the scope

Accurate quoting depends on geometry, material, finish, quantity, strength and the date the part is required. Share the original CAD file where possible; STL, STEP and clear reference photographs help us choose the right production route.

Create It 3D coordinates the appropriate manufacturing route and supports projects across South Africa. Final pricing and lead time are confirmed after the technical information, files, quantity and delivery requirements have been reviewed.
