Custom metalwork
Built for the installation, not the catalogue
Project-specific dimensions, mounting points, access and finish are resolved around where the component will actually be used.

Custom means considered
Custom fabrication is more than cutting material to size. The component has to fit its environment, carry the expected load, connect cleanly and remain practical to manufacture and install.
We combine design support with steel and aluminium fabrication for brackets, frames, guards, enclosures, mounts and project-specific assemblies. Where a structural engineer or formal certification is required, that requirement is identified and scoped separately.

Functional fabrication
The design route considers how a part carries load, connects to surrounding equipment and can be made consistently.

Steel, aluminium, thickness, joints and finish are chosen against the actual requirement rather than a default recipe.
Custom brackets, frames, supports, guards and components in suitable steel grades and thicknesses.
Lightweight fabricated parts and assemblies where corrosion resistance, mass and finish matter.
Joining and assembly planned around access, distortion, alignment and the intended service environment.
Purpose-built metalwork for mounting, protection, organisation and machine or equipment interfaces.
We can develop missing drawings and resolve fit, splits, bends, interfaces and practical manufacture.
Start with one, validate the result and retain controlled design data for repeat requirements.
How we work
A controlled brief and design reduce surprises during welding, assembly and installation.
We confirm dimensions, load, environment, interfaces, quantity, finish and any installation constraints.
Existing files are reviewed or the design is developed, then steel or aluminium and thickness are selected for the brief.
The component is manufactured in the planned sequence with fit and alignment checks during production.
The agreed finish, inspection, packing and collection or delivery route are completed to the project scope.

Straight answers before you start
The best route depends on the application, material, load, environment, finish and the quality of the available design information.
Typical work includes brackets, mounts, frames, supports, guards, housings, enclosures and project-specific assemblies. Suitability depends on the size, material, load, finish and available design information.
Yes. We can review sketches, measurements, photos, scans and sample parts. Where needed, our CAD team can create or refine the manufacturing drawings first.
The choice depends on load, stiffness, mass, corrosion exposure, fabrication method, finish and budget. We review the application before recommending a route.
Yes. We support prototypes and once-off builds as well as repeat requirements. A validated design can be retained for future production.
Formal engineering, certification, coded welding or regulated work must be identified before quotation. We will confirm whether the required scope can be supported and what third-party input is needed.
Finish options depend on the material, environment, size and use. Tell us whether appearance, corrosion resistance, cleanability or wear is the priority so it can be scoped correctly.
Yes. Hybrid builds can combine metal fabrication with printed jigs, covers, inserts, prototypes, laser-cut details or custom fixtures when that produces a better result.
Yes, subject to size and packing requirements. Large assemblies may need a dedicated transport or installation plan, which is scoped with the project.
Plan the project correctly
Combine digital design, manufactured parts and bought-in components into a complete custom build.
Custom fabrication is scoped around the complete assembly rather than a single print. Share dimensions, loads, environment, interfaces, finish, transport constraints and the expected quantity.
Create It 3D coordinates the appropriate manufacturing route and supports projects across South Africa. Final pricing and lead time are confirmed after the technical information, files, quantity and delivery requirements have been reviewed.
