The finish starts before the beam
Laser work can look deceptively simple. In practice, material type, thickness, coating, focus, power, speed, passes, airflow and support all influence the finish.
We prepare the artwork, select the appropriate laser route and test where needed so the cut or mark suits the real object—not just the preview on screen.
Production routes
Diode, CO2, fibre and rotary capability selected around the substrate, geometry and expected finish.
Fine-detail engraving
We prepare tonal artwork and detailed vectors for a mark that stays crisp on the chosen substrate.

How we work
We remove uncertainty early by checking the file, substrate and finish before the full run begins.
We identify whether the priority is a cut edge, visible mark, depth, contrast, durability or fine detail.
Vectors, line weights, layout, scale and engraving zones are cleaned and arranged for production.
Where appropriate, focus, speed, power, passes and support are checked on the actual material or a representative sample.
The job is cut or engraved, cleaned and checked, then packed for collection or nationwide delivery.

Straight answers before you start
Material, thickness, artwork, quantity and finish determine the correct laser route and production setup.
Capability depends on the exact material, thickness, coating and desired finish. Common candidates include suitable acrylics, timber products, card, leather, coated or anodised metals and selected plastics. We confirm compatibility before production.
Yes, many suitable glasses, flutes and presentation pieces can be engraved. Shape, wall thickness, artwork size and placement are checked before production.
Vector artwork such as SVG, DXF, AI or a clean PDF is usually best for cutting and line work. If your artwork is not production-ready, we can quote to prepare it.
Many suitable cylindrical and ring-shaped items can be engraved with a rotary attachment. Diameter, surface, taper, coating and artwork position must be checked first.
Yes. We support once-off gifts and prototypes as well as repeat runs. Setup, testing and artwork preparation may make larger quantities more cost-efficient.
No. The result depends on the substrate, coating and laser interaction. Samples or a material test are recommended when colour and contrast are critical.

Plan the project correctly
Cut, mark and personalise suitable materials for production, signage, gifts and branded applications.
Material type, thickness, artwork quality, finished size and quantity determine the machine, settings and setup time. Send vector artwork where possible and identify any areas that must be cut, engraved or left untouched.
Create It 3D coordinates the appropriate manufacturing route and supports projects across South Africa. Final pricing and lead time are confirmed after the technical information, files, quantity and delivery requirements have been reviewed.
