Mining and heavy equipment
Digitise worn, discontinued or complex components for maintenance planning, redesign, replacement or fitment work.
Cross-border scan-to-CAD support
3D scanning, reverse engineering and scan-to-CAD support for Namibian engineering, mining, marine, automotive, maintenance and product-development projects. Create It 3D is based in South Africa and begins with digital scoping before any object is couriered or a capture visit is assessed.
Namibia scanning capability
A raw scan, cleaned mesh, editable CAD model and manufactured replacement are different deliverables. We define the correct output, accuracy, critical features and object-movement plan before quoting.
Capture accessible geometry for digital reference, measurement, visualisation or downstream modelling after object size, surface, detail and accuracy are assessed.
Rebuild controlled surfaces and features as editable CAD when the result must be modified, fitted, manufactured or used repeatedly.
Recover unavailable or damaged components and introduce approved changes for fit, strength, assembly or a different manufacturing method.
Coordinate the complete path from suitable physical object through capture, modelling, prototype checks and a finished FDM or resin result.
Namibia applications
The service is best suited to projects where digital engineering depth, integrated CAD work or a complete scan-to-manufacture route justifies cross-border coordination.
Digitise worn, discontinued or complex components for maintenance planning, redesign, replacement or fitment work.
Capture panels, trim, covers, custom fitment zones and legacy parts for Walvis Bay, Swakopmund, Windhoek and wider transport projects.
Reconstruct housings, brackets, ducts, fittings and equipment interfaces where original drawings or replacement stock are unavailable.
Digitise hand-made forms, prototypes, artworks and complex surfaces for development, scaling, archiving or reproduction.
Cross-border scanning workflow
Clear photographs and dimensions let us decide whether the part is suitable for courier, whether related components are required and whether a project-specific capture assessment is more appropriate.
Provide several clear views, approximate dimensions, object material, condition, destination, deadline and the final result required.
We assess whether the object can travel, what packing or related parts are needed, and whether a project-specific capture visit requires separate costing.
Approved geometry is captured and processed, then rebuilt or modified in CAD according to the stated accuracy and manufacturing needs.
We issue the agreed files and coordinate object return or printed-part delivery under the documented courier and customs terms.
Namibia coverage
We assess suitable projects from Windhoek, Walvis Bay, Swakopmund, Oshakati, Rundu, Keetmanshoop, Lüderitz, Tsumeb and other Namibian locations. Physical handling, customs and travel are quoted according to the object and route.

↗Namibia scanning questions
Object movement, output format and border handling must be clear before the project starts.
No. Create It 3D is based in South Africa. We serve suitable Namibian projects through digital scoping, couriered objects and separately assessed capture travel where justified.
Often, but do not send it before assessment. Photos, dimensions, value, fragility, customs status and return requirements must be reviewed so the correct route and paperwork can be planned.
Yes when reverse engineering is included. Scan meshes are not automatically editable CAD, so critical features, tolerances and intended manufacture must be defined in the scope.
Potential travel or mobile capture is assessed case by case. Provide overall dimensions, exact location, access, surface, required accuracy and deliverable before feasibility is confirmed.
Yes. After geometry is approved, material and production method are selected around load, temperature, fit, finish, quantity and cross-border delivery.
