THE QUALITY OF THE MOULD STARTS WITH THE MASTER
A master pattern is not simply a visual print. Its geometry, surface, accuracy and handling all affect the mould - and every part produced from it.
We review the pattern in context: the intended moulding or casting method, final finish, critical details, draft and parting considerations supplied by your mould maker, and whether the pattern should be printed in high-detail resin or larger-format FDM.

PROCESS SELECTION MATTERS
Resin printing can preserve fine detail and reduce finishing work on smaller patterns. FDM is often more practical for larger patterns, provided layer lines and surfaces are prepared to the required standard.

CLARITY BEFORE COMMITMENT
A master pattern is the original form used to create a mould. The mould can then reproduce parts in materials such as silicone, polyurethane, resin or another casting system selected by your mould maker.
Resin is often best for smaller, highly detailed patterns. FDM can be more economical for larger masters when the geometry and finishing plan support it. We assess the trade-off for each project.
Yes. Depending on the geometry, the project can include 3D scanning, reverse engineering or CAD design before the master is produced.
The required finish and handover condition are agreed during quoting. Where post-processing and sealing are included, those items will be stated clearly in the scope.
For critical moulds, yes. Draft, parting lines, gates, vents, shrinkage and the moulding material can affect the pattern. Early mould-maker input reduces avoidable rework.
