Agriculture & farming

Replacement parts and practical farm solutions without the long wait.

Reverse engineer damaged or discontinued components, prototype equipment improvements and manufacture low-volume housings, guards, brackets and field-ready parts.

Agricultural equipment replacement parts and prototypes in South Africa

Industry approach

Reduce downtime when the original part is unavailable.

Agricultural equipment stays in service long after small plastic components disappear from the supply chain. A broken boot, cover, knob, housing or bracket can stop a much larger machine even when the rest of it is sound.

Create It 3D can scan a surviving component or damaged sample, repair the geometry in CAD and produce a prototype or replacement. We consider outdoor exposure, dust, moisture, impact and maintenance access before recommending a process.

Capabilities

What we can help you make.

Every project is scoped around function, quantity, environment, finish and deadline. These are common starting points—not a limit on what can be built.

01

Discontinued replacements

Recreate covers, clips, knobs, boots, housings and non-critical components that can no longer be sourced.

02

PTO and equipment scans

Capture complex boots, guards and surrounding machinery geometry where manual measurement is not enough.

03

Sensor and electrical housings

Custom enclosures, cable guides and protective covers designed around real farm equipment.

04

Brackets and mounting aids

Low-volume mounts, spacers, guides and installation tools for maintenance or equipment upgrades.

05

Prototype improvements

Test a better grip, stronger feature, improved drainage or easier assembly before making a repeat batch.

06

Workshop and field tooling

Jigs, templates and maintenance aids produced quickly for practical use by farm and service teams.

First-hand project experience

Scan what is left. Rebuild what is needed.

Our scanning work has included PTO-related components and other equipment parts where the original drawing was not available. The value is a reusable digital model: once approved, the part can be refined, reproduced and adapted instead of starting from zero each time.

  • Broken, worn or incomplete samples can be assessed
  • Outdoor and chemical exposure discussed before manufacture
  • First article approval before repeat batches
  • Practical nationwide courier delivery

A controlled route

From brief to a part you can approve.

Clear checkpoints reduce surprises. We confirm the intended use before design, obtain approval before manufacture and keep repeat production tied to the approved revision.

Questions before quoting

Frequently asked questions.

Straight answers help you send a better brief and choose the correct manufacturing route.

Can you work from a damaged agricultural part?

Yes. If enough geometry and reference dimensions remain, we can scan or measure the component and rebuild the missing features in CAD.

Which parts are suitable for 3D printing?

Covers, housings, guides, knobs, spacers, ducts and many non-safety-critical components are strong candidates. High-load, pressure-bearing or safety-critical parts need additional engineering assessment.

Can parts be made for outdoor use?

Yes, where an appropriate UV- and weather-resistant material is selected. Expected exposure and chemicals must be disclosed before production.

Do you deliver to farms outside major cities?

We support projects throughout South Africa and arrange courier delivery to accessible destinations after the part and packaging requirements are confirmed.

Start with what you have
