Industry approach

Take the idea off the screen and put it in people’s hands.

A physical model can explain motion, scale, anatomy, assembly or spatial relationships faster than another slide. We work with schools, colleges, universities, lecturers, students and research teams to make concepts tangible.

Projects range from a single final-year prototype to repeated training components and architectural submission models. If the supplied file was designed only for simulation or visualisation, we can repair and prepare it for manufacture.

Capabilities

What we can help you make.

Every project is scoped around function, quantity, environment, finish and deadline. These are common starting points—not a limit on what can be built.

01

Student prototypes

Functional and presentation prototypes for engineering, product design, architecture and creative disciplines.

02

Teaching aids

Hands-on models that explain mechanisms, geometry, anatomy, systems and technical processes.

03

Research fixtures

Custom mounts, sample holders, housings and experimental rigs developed around a documented brief.

04

Classroom and training kits

Repeat sets of parts for workshops, practical modules and skills-development programmes.

05

CAD and file preparation

Repair non-manifold files, add assembly features, simplify fragile geometry and prepare reliable print files.

06

Competition and showcase pieces

High-impact models for expos, science fairs, judging panels and public engagement.

First-hand project experience

Useful for the deadline—and for the learning outcome.

We support architecture students with Revit-to-print preparation, scaled models and complex assemblies, as well as engineering and design students who need functional prototypes. The goal is not to hide the manufacturing process; it is to make the project achievable and help the student understand the decisions.

A controlled route

From brief to a part you can approve.

Clear checkpoints reduce surprises. We confirm the intended use before design, obtain approval before manufacture and keep repeat production tied to the approved revision.

Questions before quoting

Frequently asked questions.

Straight answers help you send a better brief and choose the correct manufacturing route.

Do you work with universities, colleges and schools?

Yes. We support individual students, lecturers, departments, training providers and institutional procurement, subject to the project scope and lead time.

Can you repair a student file that will not print?

Often, yes. We can inspect the geometry, explain the issues and quote for repair or recreation. Severe problems or late deadlines may limit what is achievable.

Can you make multiple identical training parts?

Yes. After an approved first article, we can produce repeat sets for practical training or classroom use.

Which file formats do you accept?

Common CAD and mesh formats can be assessed, including STEP, STL and OBJ. Revit and other design files may require conversion or recreation depending on their construction.

Start with what you have

Send the file, sample, sketch or problem. We will help define the sensible next step.
