2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using this website, placing an order, or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, as well as our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, Returns & Refund Policy, and Payment Policy.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use this website.
3. Products and Services
Create It 3D (Pty) Ltd supplies:
- 3D printers and hardware
- 3D scanners and accessories
- Laser engraving equipment
- CNC equipment and accessories
- Consumables (filament, resin, parts)
- 3D printing services
- CAD design and engineering services
- Reverse engineering and 3D scanning services
- Rapid prototyping and fabrication services
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any product or service without notice.
4. Pricing
All prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR).
Create It 3D (Pty) Ltd is not currently VAT registered.
We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and cancel any orders placed at an incorrect price.
5. Orders and Payment
An order placed on our website constitutes an offer to purchase.
Orders are only confirmed once:
- Full payment has been received and cleared
- Stock availability is confirmed
- Fraud verification checks are completed (if applicable)
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion.
6. Shipping and Delivery
Shipping is handled by approved courier partners.
Delivery timeframes provided are estimates and not guaranteed.
We are not responsible for delays caused by courier issues, weather conditions, public holidays, or incorrect shipping information provided by the customer.
7. Custom Services, Engineering Work & Fabrication
7.1 Design Approval
All custom designs must be reviewed and approved by the client before production begins. Once approved, the client accepts full responsibility for the design specifications and intended use.
7.2 No Engineering Certification
Unless explicitly agreed in writing, Create It 3D does not provide certified engineering sign-off for structural, mechanical, load-bearing, or safety-critical applications.
7.3 Use at Own Risk
All custom fabricated, printed, scanned, or engineered parts are used at the client’s own risk. Create It 3D shall not be liable for mechanical failure, improper installation, third-party modifications, loss of income, business interruption, or consequential damages.
8. Intellectual Property
Intellectual Property ownership is determined per project agreement.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
- Clients own fully paid custom design work.
- Create It 3D retains the right to showcase non-confidential work for portfolio and marketing purposes.
Confidentiality agreements must be established before project commencement.
9. Returns and Refunds
Returns and refunds are governed by our Returns & Refund Policy.
Custom fabricated items, custom printed products, and digital design files are non-refundable once production or delivery has commenced unless confirmed defective.
10. Warranty
Manufacturer warranties apply to hardware products as provided by the respective manufacturer. Create It 3D does not extend additional warranties beyond manufacturer coverage unless explicitly stated.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Create It 3D (Pty) Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website, products, or services.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific product or service in question.
12. Prohibited Use
You agree not to:
- Violate any South African or international laws
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Transmit malicious software
- Use our website for fraudulent purposes
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Durban, KwaZulu-Natal.
14. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
