SA Filament Translucent Green PETG Filament 1kg is a durable, versatile 3D printing material designed for functional parts, mechanical components, prototypes and decorative prints that require improved strength and flexibility compared with standard PLA.

PETG combines good impact resistance, ductility and chemical resistance with reliable layer adhesion and low shrinkage. PETG combines the ease of thermoplastic extrusion with improved strength, ductility and chemical resistance. It is less brittle than PLA and generally offers strong layer adhesion, making it suitable for parts that may experience impact, movement or regular handling.

The material has good resistance to water, mild acids and alkaline substances, making it useful for functional components and containers. PETG also has relatively low shrinkage, which helps maintain dimensional accuracy and reduces the risk of warping on larger prints.

Its translucent green finish allows light to pass through printed walls, although final transparency depends on the model thickness, layer height, wall count, print temperature and surface finish.

Raw PETG resin may comply with selected food-contact standards, but a completed 3D print should not automatically be considered food safe. Printer cleanliness, nozzle material, colour additives, layer lines and post-processing can all affect suitability for food-contact applications.
