Why is my Laser Engraving too light on uneven?

Faded or uneven laser engravings are usually caused by material warping, incorrect focal distance, dirty optics, unbalanced software settings like power and speed, or mechanical issues such as loose belts. Fixing these problems involves cleaning your laser lens, flattening your stock, recalibrating the focus, tightening mechanical components, and running test grids to dial in the correct power and speed.
