Flashforge ABS Filament 1.75mm is a classic engineering-grade thermoplastic designed for strong, durable and heat-resistant 3D printed parts. Compared to standard PLA materials, ABS offers significantly higher temperature resistance, impact strength and long-term durability.

The material extrudes smoothly and produces structurally reliable prints suitable for mechanical use, housings and functional prototypes. ABS can also be sanded, drilled and chemically smoothed, making it ideal for professional finishing.

This filament is suitable for most FDM 3D printers capable of printing ABS materials and performs best when used with a heated build plate.

ABS prints with strong interlayer adhesion and maintains structural rigidity under mechanical stress. The material tolerates moderate heat exposure without deforming, making it suitable for real-world applications.

Unlike brittle materials, ABS can flex slightly before failure, improving durability. The surface can also be acetone smoothed for a professional injection-moulded appearance.

A heated bed and controlled cooling environment improve warping resistance and overall print consistency.
