The invention is not credited to a single person, but rather to a few key innovators who developed different methods of additive manufacturing. Chuck Hull is widely recognized as the father of 3D printing for his 1984 invention of Stereolithography (SLA), while other pioneers like Dr. Carl Deckard and Scott Crump developed technologies such as Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) and Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM), which paved the way for the accessible 3D printing technology we use today.
